BOYA BY-XM6 MINI

Featuring transmitters with an ultracompact form factor, the BOYA BY-XM6-S2 Mini Ultracompact 2-Person Wireless Microphone System is designed to capture audio in vlogs or interviews with two subjects using your compatible camera, smartphone, or other recording device. The system includes two mini clip-on transmitters with built-in omnidirectional microphones and a dual-channel receiver with a 3.5mm TRS connection. Using the built-in 2.4 GHz wireless frequency, the components can communicate from up to 328′ away without obstruction. An OLED screen on the receiver allows you to monitor battery life and signal strength while toggling recording modes and mute. The system also includes furry windscreens, 3.5mm TRS cable, 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable, three USB-C charging cables, and a pouch to carry it all in.

Wide Compatibility

The 3.5mm TRS output on the receiver unit can be used with included cables to record audio to your DSLR/mirrorless camera, compatible smartphone, or other audio recorder.
A built-in back clip on the receiver can attach to your cinematographer or slide into any cold shoe mount to turn the unit into a camera-mountable device.

Real-Time Monitoring

Use the 3.5mm TRS headphone port on the receiver to monitor the quality of your sound recording in real time. This ensures your levels are up to par in the field. Use the included furry windscreens with the transmitters to prevent noise disturbances from windy outdoor conditions.

Ultracompact Clip-On Transmitters
Measuring less than 2″ long, the ultracompact transmitters are lightweight and small for low-profile recording. Integrated omnidirectional microphones with condenser capsules capture crisp audio in your next 2-person interview. Integrated back clips easily attach each transmitter to your talent’s lapel.

Onboard Controls
The receiver features an OLED screen which displays pairing status, connection, and battery level, as well as what recording mode you are in—mono or stereo. The transmitters feature LED indicators to display pairing status, mute, and battery level. All units have onboard controls to facilitate functions like mute and select recording modes. You can also use the controls on your transmitters to adjust the 6 levels of gain.

Built-In Rechargeable Batteries
Built-in lithium-ion batteries in each component can be recharged using their USB-C connections and the included cables. The transmitters can run for up to 4.5 hours, while the receiver can run for 7 hours.
